Then for the flight packs you can either beg, steal, borrow, or buy a ton of the vox backpacks and convert them to add in wings or stabilizer fins. Could greenstuff the glasses onto the Cadian heads like how ( ) has it as well but that makes it a bit more difficult to make it uniform across heads. If you want to stick strickly to Gameswork shop, you're in for a lot of work as there aren't really many good respirator or full helmets that aren't going to look huge or easily recognizable as the base race. Or really any 28mm heroic sized helmet with the Cadian body. My opinion, Cadian bodies with Pig Iron System Trooper 15 ( ) ( ) or ( ). The level of detail is remarkable, and they're much more unique than just about anything else you'll see on the tabletop.

If you want the extra "Elysian" touch, adding the Grav-chute backpacks to the Cadian bodies will make it quite clear to your opponents that you're not running a regular IG regiment, and they look fantastic I might add.īut I truly do recommend just taking it slow and purchasing the legitimate models. The results can look quite good, ending up with just bulkier Elysians due to the larger scale of Cadian bodies/arms/legs. Having purchased a full FW Elysian force, I can say the list is very rewarding (if difficult) to field and play, so if you are truly interested in playing it for the long-run, my best advice would be to slowly build up your army unit by unit.īarring that, or if you're simply running an Ally contingent for funsies, I'd say Cadian bodies/weapons with either Valkyrie Pilot heads, or Elysian Respirator heads, depending on the look you're going for.
